Black Bear Hunting

British Columbia has the largest Black Bear population in the world and Vancouver Island Black Bears are the biggest!

In fact, Vancouver Island Black Bears have just been discovered to be a separate sub-species of Black Bear, now known as the Island Bear.

With a high percentage of large, mature boars in the population you will see many Black Bears during your guided Island Bear hunt and we'll leave it up to you to decide which one will make your hunting trip a success.

Mountain Lion (Cougar) Hunting

Vancouver Island, Canada has the highest concentration of Mountain Lions (Cougars) in North America and right now their numbers are at an all time high.

That means that after you have taken your first mountain lion you will have the option of harvesting a second lion on the same hunt.

BC Salmon Fishing

It's Vancouver Island, BC, so of course there is Salmon Fishing. Just ask and we can arrange for a BC fishing experience in our Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. Your hosts: Dave and Irene Fyfe, and Brian and Kelly Gage.

In the Summer (July and August) head over to Nootka Sound. How big are the Salmon? Like everything else here, they are trophy sized! Our fishing is on the West coast of Vancouver Island in Nootka Sound where the salmon fishing experience is spectacular! Our focus is on trophy size Chinook (kings) salmon. Coho (silver) Salmon, halibut, Ling cod and other bottom fish are a great bonus fishery!
